How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.

I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hello, fellow Pokeshippers!

A few days ago a new big Pokeshipping-comic-project came up by the very talented ~missmybcmiyuki and I'm very sad about not many have realized or seen it yet. But believe me, if you love Pokeshipping and miss the good old times, you'll love this comic-project a lot!
~missmybcmiyuki has the goal to make every month(!!!) in 2012 a new Pokeshipping-comic - and the January-one is online already. I only plea you, have a look! It is worth it:

~missmybcmiyuki takes so much time and makes everything possible she's able to to make her comic go on. She's making an incredible and awesome job and I worship her for being so busy. i couldn't help crying when i read this.
when i first came up with this project i just thought it would be a good way to improve my art skills and test myself to see if i could do it every month.

i've actually had to take lots of breaks for chapter 2. (same for chapter 1)

right now i just finished page 10 and i can't seem to draw so well.

in these cases i usually read some manga and go back to drawing after a few hours.

i'll take each chapter as i come to it and i can only hope i don't end up giving up.

no that's too negative. no matter what i want to finish this to the very end >.<
