Imagine someone tells you your best friend died in war. This is what Gary and Misty had to accept and they had to live with this message of Pallet Town. Since Ash hasn't told anybody where he is and what he's doing the long five years long, the city decided on telling everyone Ash died in a battle with Giovanni and his Team Rocket agents. Long before that Gary and Misty didn't want to live alone anymore, so they made a "two-men-people-sharing-a-flat".
That's why Gary and Misty were in big sorrow - and this sorrows went to get a real problem. Misty and Gary couldn't be normal friends anymore. The sorrow gave both a feeling of loneliness they only can defeat when they become clear of their new relationship-feeling. When Gary and Misty wanted to say "Yes" to the emotions there happened one thing nobody could believe anywhen: Ash and Pikachu were standing before the house of the two new-lovers and Misty and Gary couldn't realize it - were these two THE Ash and THE Pikachu they knew long time ago? ... Nya I want to make a story about it - the story makes me feel... free and... I hope I can become clear my past myself. I always make work with my feelings with stories and pictures  Hope ya like it!
